Textline mobile and desktop Notifications should, by default, make a sound when they pop up. If you see the Notifications come in correctly but do not hear a sound, you’ll want to check your device’s settings.
Make sure that your device has the audio on & the volume up.
On a mobile device, ensure that the ringer & alerts volume in the sounds section is turned up adequately.
Double-check the Notification settings of the Textline app on the device to ensure that Sounds are turned on for Textline Notifications.- Ensure that notifications are enabled within the Textline application settings.
Verify your system notification settings to confirm that notifications and sounds are allowed for the Textline app (on mobile) or browser (on desktop).
If using Chrome, ensure that notifications are enabled in Chrome settings under "Privacy and Security" > "Site Settings," and that Textline has the necessary permissions for notifications.
Check Chrome’s sound settings to confirm the browser is not muted or set to "Do Not Disturb."
Restart Chrome and clear its cache to resolve any temporary issues affecting sound notifications.
Please note that on a mobile device, if the app is currently open, Notifications will not make a sound - they will only sound if the app is in the background or the device is locked. This is a function of mobile push notifications.
