Initially in your trial, you will use our Demo Department which will only let you send messages to the verified phone numbers of the agents in your account. If you would like to try Textline and send messages to contacts, you will need to create a department with your own number and get the number fully verified before you may send messages. If you choose a local number for the department, we require credit card information to prevent spam and fraud as there are costs for registering local numbers.
