Textline mobile and desktop Notifications should, by default, make a sound when they pop up. If you’re seeing the Notifications come in correctly but do not hear a sound, you’ll want to check your device’s settings.
- Make sure that your device has the audio on & the volume up
- On a mobile device, make sure that the Ringer & Alerts volume in the Sounds section is turned up adequately
- Double check the Notification settings of Textline app on the device to make sure that Sounds are turned on for Textline Notifications
Please note that on a mobile device, if the app is currently open, Notifications will not make a sound - they will only sound if the app is in the background or the device is locked. This is a function of mobile push notifications.
